Dear Friends and Patrons!
                   The university has entered a new growth phase of human resource, infrastructure and enrollment. We have more than 19000 students in degree programs and around 10000 others. More than 130 new faculty appointments were made during the year. Our development portfolio has risen above six billion. Our internationalization programs have also touched new heights with more than 600 exchange visits in- and out of country. We organized international handball tournament with 12 teams from seven countries and repeated international tent pegging events. The German government funded ICDD (International center for development and decent work) has been renewed for another five years. The USAID funded CAS-FSA (Center for Advanced Studies in Food Security and Agriculture) has been officially launched in collaboration with the University of California, Davis. A Chinese government funded Confucius center has started working on the campus. A French cultural center operates twice a week. Our students went to Turkey and Malaysia on exchange visits. And, one of them spoke at the UN General Assembly and another one participated in the Nobel Prize ceremony held at Oslo, Sweden. Several new international programs are in the making.
